We do try to make sure you are happy with your purchase, we make every attempt to understand an answer all your questions honestly and provide all photos requested, however due to the nature of horses and widely varying opinions on training, conformation and acceptable behavior, we do not offer gaurantees, trial periods or returns. However, if the animal you purchased does not work for which you intended, and would like to trade the horse, we may consider an exchange. We must evaluate the animal (must be in the same condition or better as when it left) prior to making the exchange. You would be responsible for paying the difference in pricing (no refunds of any funds even if the animal you pick to exchange is of a lesser value) plus $250.00 and all transportation costs.
Generally we can be very flexible in scheduling on site visits 7 days a week.

** We require a deposit if you request a new coggins or health certificate. All our horses with the exceptions of foals born in the current year, will have a coggins dated March current year. If you do not need a new coggins, no deposit is required unless you wish to hold the horse for other reasons. All out of state buyers who will be using commercial transportation, we will provide a current coggins and health certificate. All other vet exams at buyers expense. If you are out of state and you are coming in from out of state and do not place a deposit we will not get a health certicate. We apologize if this is an inconvience for you, however, far too many people make appointments and then never show up for that appointment, some canceling at the last minute, some just never showing up. We cannot afford to get paperwork everytime someone makes an appointment if they are not serious about showing up, many people lately are not as serious as they appear. Deposits hold the horse for you however all deposits are non-refunable. We may allow a smaller deposit for coggins and health certificate that are refundable however you would need to ask us about specifics and our terms.

** Registration paperwork. ** Per AQHA "According to AQHA rule 224 (f) (1) "Seller's Responsibility: the owner of record at the time of sale has the responsibility for completing an AQHA transfer in its entirety and for delivery of it to AQHA. The seller must provide on the transfer report the correct name and registration number of the horse, date of sale, name and address of buyer, and signature and address of seller. The seller shall immediately deliver the transfer form, along with the registration certificate, to AQHA, along with any other documents required to complete the transfer of ownership. Payment of the required fee as specified in rule 222 shall be a matter of private negotiation between the buyer and seller and maybe paid by either of them, but such fee must accompany the transfer, with the membership status of the buyer determining the applicable transfer fee".
In the past we have trusted the buyer to transfer paperwork, however, because too many buyers have failed to follow through after the sale and send in transfers, and AQHA rules expressly states that the owner of record is responsible for submitting transfers, we will now send in all paperwork to AQHA and we will pay the current transfer fee for members.
If you are not a member these are the options available to you.
1) pay the non-member fee for transfers, to be determined at the time of sale(currently I believe it is $50.00)
2) provide the AQHA membership fee to be submitted with transfer at the time of purchase.
3) join AQHA at your convenience and provide us with the member number within 90 days of purchase. Failure to join and provide a membership number within 90 days will result in forfeiture of the horse's registration papers and horse will be considered "sold without papers".
4) take horse without papers, horse will be considered as "sold without papers". We will not transfer paperwork to a 3rd party.
We can provide copy of the registration papers at the time of sale to those buyers which are AQHA members or those that become members at the time of sale. This policy is non-negotiable for all US customers.
We can provide you with a sales contract or receipt for your purchase.
Deposits: deposits are generally 25% of the purchase price or $500 whichever is greater and are non-refundable.
